Refund and cancellation policy

This policy covers subscriptions to Ekvasa, a service of Colligo Infotech ("we"), bought by a housing society, RWA or association ("the society").

Free or introductory periods

Any such period is as agreed in writing; nothing is charged during it.

Payments are not refundable

The society pays in advance for each period, a month or a year, by Razorpay auto-pay, a payment link or bank transfer. We do not have a refund policy for monthly or yearly payments: a payment is not refunded, in whole or in part, even if the society stops using Ekvasa part-way through the period.

The full amount, with GST, is in the written agreement before the society agrees, and on the Razorpay page before it pays. With auto-pay, the society’s bank or UPI app tells it before each debit, as the RBI’s rules require.

Stopping

• The society does not need to give a reason and does not need our permission. To stop, it writes to support@ekvasa.com from the society’s registered email. Cancelling auto-pay (in the console, or the mandate in its bank or UPI app) stops only the automatic debits: invoices still come, to be paid by hand, until the society stops.
• The service continues until the end of the period already paid for. No invoice is issued after that, and nothing already paid is returned.
• We give the society a copy of its data (residents, bills, receipts, reports) on request until the period ends, and for 30 days after.

A clear error

If we find a clear error, such as a payment taken twice, we may issue a refund at our own discretion. When we do, we email the society and the invoice becomes due again. The refund goes back through Razorpay to the original payment method.

Maintenance paid by residents

Residents pay their maintenance and other charges directly to the society’s own bank account, also when they pay online in the app through the society’s own Razorpay account. Ekvasa does not receive or hold that money, so refunds of maintenance are a matter between the resident and the society.

Businesses listed in the app

A business that lists itself under Nearby businesses pays a monthly listing fee on the same terms: it is due in advance and is not refunded, the business can stop at any time from its billing page, and its listing stays until the period already billed ends. A clear error, such as a charge taken twice, may be refunded at our discretion. The business terms say more.
